Private Bob Dibblee — your AI defence reference.
He knows the catalogue. Ask him. NSN status, DEMIL codes, document questions, supplier information — answered in plain language in seconds. Dibblee relays the intelligence. You make the call.
Private Dibblee is on your fire team.
He carries his weight. He knows the catalogue, he pulls the data, he reads the document. You point him at a task, he gets it done.
But he's a Private. He doesn't run the section. He works best when someone's giving clear direction — a procurement officer who knows what they're after, a supply chain lead who can read the output and act on it. Private Dibblee is a useful member of the team, not a replacement for one.
Every effective fire team has one.
Why Dibblee?
Over 85 years, Dibblee Industries ran on people. Bobs and Roberts, mostly — the ones who knew which supplier actually delivered, which NSN had alternates nobody catalogued, which contract clause meant trouble. That knowledge lived in their heads. Private Dibblee is that knowledge, named for the institution that built it.
The rank tells you what you're getting.
In the military, you use last names. Rank, then last name. No ambiguity about what you're working with or what they're capable of.
Desk mode. NSN lookups, document parsing, supply chain queries, sourcing support. Entry level. Takes clear orders and delivers.
Lightweight LLM · short conversational memory · best for single-question lookups, not long multi-step research.
Corporal and up — everything past the free desk tier, rolled into Enterprise. Mobile DEMIL field mode, multi-step research, report generation. What we don't show in public, released only under signed NDA, confidentiality undertaking, and limited-use licence. Licensed data. Private data. Bring your data. Talk to us.
Everything in Private · mobile DEMIL field mode (photo → red/green disposal verdict) · frontier LLM (Claude Opus and equivalents) · long-context report generation · LLM-built PDFs and briefings · grounded in your dedicated data layer · optional Radio Free / custom integrations.
You shouldn't need a training course to get an answer.
WebFLIS, NMCRL (NATO Master Catalogue of References for Logistics), Publog, the DLA cataloguing system — these tools exist, and they work. But they take time to learn, time to search, and time you don't have. Private Dibblee already knows how to use them. Ask the question. Get the answer. You make the call.
Developed and owned by a Canadian company. No foreign data dependency by design.
Built by people who have spent decades navigating FLIS, NMCRL, NSNs, NCAGE codes, and allied procurement cycles — not by people learning the domain from a briefing document.
Private Dibblee is entry rank. He does the work and is clear about what he knows. He's built for the person who needs a fast answer — not a training course. That's not a limitation. That's the right fit for the job.
Direct retail is currently legally limited to verified United States clients. We verify country and identity through a token payment via Stripe (US-issued card, US billing address required). All international clients must contact us directly. One account per person, non-transferable.
The answers that used to take hours to find.
Private Dibblee knows the systems — FLIS, NMCRL, NCAGE, NATO cataloguing, defence logistics data — so you don't have to learn them. Ask a question in plain language. Get the answer. You decide what to do with it. Corporal Dibblee takes that same intelligence into the field.
Ask About Any NATO Stock Number
Who makes it. Who else supplies it. Whether it's active. What FSC it falls under. Dibblee pulls the answer from live FLIS and NMCRL data in under two seconds — the same information that takes twenty minutes to find in WebFLIS if you know what you're doing.
DEMIL Status — Red or Green
Corporal Dibblee goes mobile. In the field, item in hand — take a photo, upload it, and Dibblee identifies the item, looks up the DEMIL code, and tells you what it means. Red means demilitarization required before disposal. Green means clear. Dibblee reads the record. You make the disposal decision. Available at Corporal rank.
Ask About Any Document
RFP, Standing Offer, technical specification, DND contract — hand it to Dibblee and ask a plain-language question about it. He reads it and tells you what it says. What you do with that is up to you.
Who Supplies It
Canadian suppliers, NCAGE codes, alternate sources, cross-references — Dibblee looks it up and tells you what the record shows. The sourcing decision is yours.
Bilingual by Design
Fully operational in both official languages. Ask in English, get an answer in French. Ask in French, get an answer in English. Built for Canadian federal procurement.
The FLIS code dictionary DAITK runs on
DAITK decodes procurement records against the complete U.S. DLA FLIS code dictionary — every cataloging field and value code, defined verbatim. Browse it openly: DEMIL, AAC, MOE rule, shelf-life, unit of issue and ~190 more fields.
Other companies are discovering defence. We've been here since 1940.
Dibblee Industries has supplied marine hardware, anchor chain, and industrial components to the Department of National Defence and Canadian shipyards for over eight decades. We understand procurement not as an abstraction but as a daily operational reality — the NSNs, the NCAGE codes, the technical specifications, the delivery schedules, the compliance requirements. Private Dibblee is our attempt to make that knowledge available to the people who need it.
Private Dibblee isn't AI bolted onto a defence brochure. He's 85 years of procurement knowledge — named for the people who built it.
Montréal-based. NATO-catalogued. AI-powered.
DND supply staff, PWGSC personnel, logistics coordinators — NSN status, document questions, supplier information. Dibblee tells you what the records say. You move forward.
Surplus property, base cleanup, DRMO operations — point Dibblee at an item, get the DEMIL code and what it means. He reads the record. You make the disposal decision.
Fleet maintenance, parts identification, specification cross-referencing, supply chain intelligence for remote operations. If it has an NSN, Dibblee knows it.
NSN cross-reference, NCAGE lookups, alternate sourcing, ITB data. If you're quoting on a DND contract and need what the catalogue says, Dibblee has it.
Frequently asked questions.
Who can subscribe to Private or Corporal Dibblee?
Private and Corporal Dibblee are currently available as direct retail subscriptions inside the United States only. Verification is performed via Stripe — a US-issued credit card with a US billing address is required at checkout. This is a legal, export-control, and audit requirement, not a pricing model.
I'm outside the United States. How do I get access?
All international clients must contact us. We do not issue self-serve retail access outside the United States today. Depending on your country and use case, we will route you to the appropriate enterprise arrangement or NATO country-partner discussion.
Are you looking for partners in other countries?
Yes. We are actively seeking NATO country partners. DAITK at Sergeant rank and above is licensed exclusively — one partner per NATO member country. The partner is a domain-credentialed national operator (supplier, integrator, or agency) who runs DAITK in their market with their own data layer. Once a country is allocated, it's allocated.
Why USA-only retail right now?
It is the cleanest legal and audit perimeter for direct retail today: US-issued payment instruments give us a verifiable identity, billing country, and export-control posture in a single transaction. Other markets are served through enterprise contact and the country-partner programme.
Will retail expand to other countries?
Likely, on a country-by-country basis as our legal and verification posture allows it. Today, the cleanest perimeter is the United States. International access in the meantime runs through enterprise contact and the NATO country-partner programme.
What data does Dibblee draw on?
FLIS (US DLA's Federal Logistics Information System), NMCRL (NATO Master Catalogue of References for Logistics), NCAGE records, and 85 years of Dibblee's own catalogued supply transactions. Live data, in under two seconds.
What does the Stripe charge actually do?
It puts a real identity, a payment method, a billing country, and a Terms of Service acceptance on file in one verified step. The amount charged is incidental — the verification and audit trail are the point.
Is there a military discount?
Yes — US active-duty, reservists, and veterans qualify for a discounted Private Dibblee subscription. Verification is handled by SheerID, an independent third-party verifier that cross-references DoD records. You complete a short form on SheerID's hosted page; on success, SheerID issues you a single-use promotion code redeemable at Stripe checkout. Dibblee never sees your military ID, DD-214, or service record — we receive only the redeemed promotion code attached to your eventual Stripe Customer.
